On Battles: Closing Thoughts

So take my advice if You are new in the Lord and reading something like this for the first time... those fiery darts that are mentioned in the Bible are REAL - I found this out FIRST HAND - and if You ever see them, try to remember to IMMEDIATELY REBUKE THEM IN THE NAME OF JESUS and they CANNOT harm You! The same thing goes for demons - they try to scare you, intimidate you, fill you with dread, freak you out, but they really are nothing but disgusting fowl little jerks from the pit and if You are a Blood-bought Child of God, You are an HEIR to God's Throne and satan and his minions have NO AUTHORITY WHATSOEVER over You... unless YOU allow it. Which I refuse to do. I take the Scripture Luke 10:19 very seriously. Jesus said it and I believe it. End of story. Period.

A very Special Friend and Sister in Lord recently introduced me to her granddaughter. She said, "this is my friend Candy... and the devil is AFRAID of her." which floored me.. I said, "well, I never quite heard myself described like THAT before.. but it's really nice to meet you." and she said, "But it is TRUE! He IS afraid of You Candy!" I have NEVER thought this about myself before... and I do NOT take things of the dark spiritual side lightly. I know that this journey of experiences has Strengthened me in the Lord, and I credit a lot of it to His inner introduction to me at the beginning of this Walk, to the experiences that I have come through since then, and I do seriously read my Bible daily - well, 99.9% of the time - which does help keep me Strong in Him.

I Pray each time before I read it (after I Thank God for His living Word), and ask that He will reveal something new to me, how it pertains to me, and for me to understand and comprehend what I am reading - in the actual context that He actually meant it; and that He will saturate my mind, heart, soul and spirit with His Word, so that I am ready in season and out of season to live it, breath it, speak it, pray it and think it. I still cannot quote it word for word, and I don't know that I ever will be able to, but the Holy Spirit does bring the perfect Scriptures to my mind at different times, and in different situations. It is not about being religious, it is about having a real RELATIONSHIP with our Father, who is The Most High God and Father of Jesus Christ our Savior.

You Sister in Christ,

p.s. I originally ended this paragraph with “And this brings us up to date.” But I took it out, because the journey in this Walk continues.
