God of Coincidences and Other Thoughts

God is not a God of coincidences, is He? My natural birthday is March 22nd. My Spiritual Birthday is November 22nd! I just think that it’s pretty neat that both special days happen to fall on the 22nd of the month. I’m only sorry that it took the Lord FORTY YEARS to get a hold of me!!

I have to admit that I have "veered off track" a time or two since meeting the Holy Spirit, but God has so Mercifully guided me right back on it... to say that this has been somewhat of an interesting LEARNING experience is an understatement. But then, we all make mistakes; but just as long as we LEARN from it and are able to help others that go thru similar trials makes it somewhat worth it. Sure do hate them trials by fire while going thru them, though!!!! Nowadays, I just can't help myself... I am SERIOUS about the Lord and strive to KNOW HIM more each day. I cannot imagine how I survived this life for forty years WITHOUT truly personally KNOWING Him!!! I sure wish He would have gotten a hold of me sooner, but God knows what is best for us and does things in His perfect timing.

My favorite witnessing Scripture is John 3:3 which says “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

My favorite POWER Scripture: Luke 10:19 which Jesus spoke, says “Behold, I give unto you POWER to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy: and NOTHING by ANY MEANS shall hurt you.”

Based on that Scripture, I have a custom-made patch that I sewed onto my riding vest and my leather jacket (I ride a Harley-Davidson Low Rider) which says “satan is a PUNK”.

I am happily married to a wonderful and good man but would be much more happier if he was on the same Spiritual page as me. He says he believes in God ONLY, and is VERY anti-Jesus. So please say a Prayer for him. His name is Bill, but everybody knows him as “Cowboy”. I know that God wants me to remain in this marriage because He told me one time in an AUDIBLE, LOUD, BOOMING VOICE to “PUT THAT RING BACK ON YOUR FINGER!” This happened shortly after I was Saved, when I was thinking that only God knows if my husband will be Saved or not, and stopped wearing my wedding ring for three days. (WHEN GOD SPEAKS TO YOU, YOU DEFINITELY DO KNOW IT, AND YOU DEFINITELY DO OBEY HIM!!!!!!!!!!!) I know some of you will think that I am NUTS but what I have written here is the TRUTH, as God is my Witness!)
